Mike Acevedo Appointed as New Chief of Prepaid Calling
Industry Leader
GREAT NECK, NY – August 16, 2005
– CVT Prepaid Solutions, Inc. (formerly Orion Telecommunications

calling industry, today announced the appointment of Mike Acevedo
as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer and a new member
of its Board of Directors. Mr. Acevedo replaces Peter Sicilian,
Jr. who is pursuing other interests.

as well as related distribution network businesses. Many at CVT
Prepaid Solutions will recall his role as Executive Vice President
of Sales and Marketing at Orion in years past,” said Rick

As Executive VP of Sales and Marketing at Orion for several years,
Mr. Acevedo developed the strategic plan that lead to the growth
and expansion of the company from $100 million to annual revenues
of $240 million, over four hundred employees and distribution in
more than thirty-five markets. After leaving Orion in 2003, Mr.
Acevedo co-founded Prodigi Prepaid Solutions, a major force in the
retail distributor business, and has served as its Chief Executive
Officer and chairman since its inception. Most recently, Mr. Acevedo
was acting as an independent consultant for several companies in
the Calling Card industry.

CVT Prepaid Solutions has also appointed Len Carone as CFO and
Executive Vice President, replacing Mr. David Neithardt, who was
newly added to the company’s Board of Directors along with
Mr. Carone. Other members of the restructured management team include
Mr. Jim Pesce, Vice President of Sales, Mr. Bill Hinton, Vice President
of Operations, and Ms. Athena Pappas, Director of Human Resources.
